Please Adopt Me! from Quilting Is More Fun Than Housework

Sometimes when I make projects with big bonus triangles, I save them and have great plans of turning them into a quilt.  Such was the case with this project that now needs a new home.

I made the HSTs from the leftovers from a Layers of Charm quilt made with Amy Ellis' Modern Neutrals fabric collection.  You can see the quilt here.  There are 36 4" HSTs (they will finish at 3.5").  I am including about a third of a yard of the terra cotta solid I used and a large strip from a coordinating fabric that can be ...

Looking for a New Home from Quilting Is More Fun Than Housework

A friend of mine had passed this little quilt top over to me.  It was a piece she had finished long ago and just didn't want to finish.  I always thought I might quilt it up and donate it but I just seem to never get around to it.

So it needs to find a good home!

It measures approximately 40" square.  The colors are a berry center, teal corners, purple corner stones and a soft lavender in all the sashing.  It needs a good pressing.

It would be perfect for someone who wants to practice free motion quilting ...

As always, these events just seem to pass by so quickly. Its hard to believe that tomorrow will be the last day but so far and I know you might agree with me its’ been great seeing all the craziness happening in our little quilt world here on the net. I love the internet, how else would I ever get to see all the gorgeous quilts and projects that are created by others. Don’t get me wrong I also love quilt shows, but with those you are limited to those who show and don’t see the bigger picture ...
