Four extra dark shapes added to the first design makes more of a difference than I thought it would.

Interesting.

I like this one, and wondering if it would look OK with a wider variety of colours.

Felicity’s Five Patch is the block in the middle of each side of the design above. All the other blocks are variations of that block, created by altering the placement of fabrics.

I think I like the first design best, but maybe that is because I misplaced two blocks in the second design.
