EQ Dozen + 55, 56 from Virtual Quilter

This project has a dozen blocks from the Electric Quilt Library, plus some scraps of sashing scattered around.

The second design also has blank spaces where you can show off some quilting.

Some piecing but more applique … and space for quilting to feature. Everything I like in one quilt design.

A little bit of playtime, and I still like it, but prefer the first design.

Note that all the blocks are from the Electric Quilt Block Library.

I think pink, purple and green are my favourite colour combination!

Simple, but I love it … and would love it more in reality after it was quilted!

EQ Dozen + 47, 48 from Virtual Quilter

I like it! It has all the things I like in a quilt … applique, piecing, room for quilting and a few little tweaks that I have never seen in any quilt in a show, a magazine …. anywhere.

I like the second too … pretty much the same as the first, but less applique. I love the colours in both of these designs.

Experimenting with sashing which is sometimes visible in contrast fabric, sometimes hiding in block background fabric!

I love the first design.

I love it!

The second one is interesting!

A lot of my designs would be great if you had some smallish pieces of fabric and want to make a large quilt, or just don’t have the time to make 25 or more blocks. You would still have an excuse to go to the quilt shop to buy yards of the background fabric.
