Lots of Color from Art In Search

During the big quarantine, I did the quilt along with Gudrun Erla on Elvira. I thought it was a fun quilt and made a nice large one to give as a comfort quilt. It was pretty bold from fat quarters I had brought together as bright patterns.
I found out that a secretary that worked at my last school had a rough summer battling a long running blood cancer disease. She always loved bold, lots of color. The quilt reminds me of her. I messaged her on Facebook to see if she would like it. I sent her the link ...

Year End Wrap-up from Creative B Designs

Well, I have not been keeping up with what has been done in my world. Like everyone else, the Covid Virus has seriously limited activities. There were four quilt retreats that I attended which had limited attendance. It was so nice to see friends and sew with them.

I decided I need to learn some newer techniques and my well used Stripology ruler cracked at the hole they drilled in it to hang. A quilt store a bit away from me was doing curbside service and I was able to get the new Stripology ruler so I could participate in the Quilt a Long by Gudrun
I had a collection of fat quarters that I had put together because they were all happy bright prints. I decided to put together some ...

Does anybody really know what day it is? from Stash Overflow

Does anybody really care?

daysofweek

Having been retired for almost 5 years was good training for self-isolation. Being an introvert also makes it easier to stay at home although I do enjoy my quilt groups and other outings. My calendar started clearing out on March 13th with the cancellation of Jinny Beyer club for the next day. After that the cancellations came fast and furiously. I still have a couple of appointments (chiro and hair) on my calendar for April but I plan to cancel them.

Around mid-March I went ahead and made a hotel reservation for early May for my ...
