What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 Okay, well we had big ideas about hiking yesterday, but then we got lazy. Also, we were watching the impeachment trial, which was interesting. We're leaving Boulder City tomorrow, and so we made a short grocery shopping excursion and filled our truck with fuel for the journey. Tomorrow we'll be in Laughlin, Nevada. 

As for yesterday, I spent most of the day stitching. My thumb didn't object to this until I tried to let loose of the needle. Then, and only then, did I realize how stiff it was after hours of stitching. Definitely, I was over ...

If the Olympic organizers had any sense among them, they would create a grocery shopping event. I'm telling you, Mike and I would win the gold medal. Mike mans the cart and I run from item to item, and we can knock off a list of 40 items in about 20 minutes time. It probably takes longer to check out than it does to collect the things on the list. We might do it faster except, you know...people. Sometimes you just have to knock them out of the way. Sometimes they fall down in front of my feet ...

We had a beautiful day of weather yesterday for our visit to see London Bridge. It was sunny and warm with a nice breeze that kept us comfortable. Mike had a prescription waiting for pick-up at the closest Walgreen's, which happened to be in Lake Havasu City, home of London Bridge. Yes...THAT London Bridge. It's worth clicking right here to read the Wikipedia page with its story. It's interesting. If you don't feel like reading, there's a good slide show included with pictures of the bridge, both old and new.

We had a beautiful day of weather yesterday for our visit to see London Bridge. It was sunny and warm with a nice breeze that kept us comfortable. Mike had a prescription waiting for pick-up at the closest Walgreen's, which happened to be in Lake Havasu City, home of London Bridge. Yes...THAT London Bridge. It was a pretty relaxed day yesterday...no long drives, and not a lot of sight-seeing. Heck, we even went out for breakfast. When we're in a small town, we like to visit the local "watering hole," have a meal (preferably breakfast), and eavesdrop on the conversations around us. It's a good way to learn how people spend their days in a town like this one.

So we visited this restaurant that serves up three meals per day, 7 days per week. To the right of the image below is the bar associated with the restaurant. It's ...
