It's A Finishing Day! from Quilting My Way

This morning I was getting ready for our meeting day. I had to get my floss box and take it with me to Brazilian Embroidery. I wanted to have it to figure out what colors I wanted to do for the "next" project. In other words, I was hoping to start another project after I finished my Roses in the Winter piece.

I got there around 10:15 am. Then we sat and talked about what classes we wanted to take for Seminar. I was happy to see Sandy wanted to take the same classes I did. I got all ...

As I Sit Here from Quilting My Way

This morning I was up and out the door. Stopped at Faye's to drop off the quilt top that I finished over the weekend. Then I went to Starbucks and picked up some tea for mom and I.

Arrived at moms house. We got a few things done for her and then started in on the quilt top for Mike. It keeps changing.

Still Keeping Busy from Quilting My Way

This morning was going strong. It's funny how things work out.

I met my son at Copy Depot at noon, then went to the Centralia Library to meet Sue, then was off to Safeway to pick a few things up.

Came back home and did laundry. I also ironed the batting for the QOV quilt. I've got everything ready to go for tomorrow. I have my doctors appointment at 10 am. So, I need to get moving early. Want to get to Sharon's by a quarter after 9 since it takes 30 mins to get to Kaiser ...

Learning About Retirement from Quilting My Way

Today I was up and left Patrick sleeping. I played a few games and then when he got up, I got moving again.

Patrick got started early. He went into the bathroom and started going through the cabinet and cleaning everything thing up. While he was in there, I was mopping the floor and vacuuming. I did get a load of laundry in there but that didn't go very far. I need to get the laundry going again. But Patrick has a lot of ideas for getting the house in shape and I'm afraid this may be a ...

Making Up A Game In Bowling from Quilting My Way

Today I was working on the laundry - hoping to get it done so this weekend wouldn't be doing laundry all weekend.

I worked on the beading again.

I am now at 176/446. I've been working about 4 rows a day when I can. I did more than that yesterday. The tail looks like it's coming out, but I need a few more rows to be sure.

Then I took a break and watched a few shows on Netflix. While I was doing that, I crocheted a couple more potholder. I even started a bigger potholder that ...

It's Thursday And It Was A Good Day from Quilting My Way

This morning I enjoyed being about to sleep a little longer since Patrick left for work. Then I realized that will only be for another day....then he's home for good. Retirement tomorrow. Plus bowling....

I got laundry going. Then I went downstairs to see what I could work on for QOV. I cut some strips for another quilt. I had an idea today, so I'm going to try it out. I hope it works. I want to get moving on the blocks that Betty gave me with some fabric for our group. She asked that the blocks ...
