Quiltcon Review from Ellyn's Place

Quiltcon 2022 is in the books! Phoenix was a blast (ok truth time here, I'm still in Phoenix! Hubby and I stayed a few extra days to enjoy family here, Dallas iced over and many flights were canceled. We'll make it home eventually!)

A Collaboration with Sarah from Ellyn's Place

Several months ago, when Sarah Goer and I began our Zoom calls based on In Tandem Art (read more about that here) we decided to issue each other a challenge. We each chose a photo from our archives, sent our photo to the other, and then made mini quilts inspired by the photos. It was great fun and a good way to kick off our stint as pArtners. A few months ago, when all of the kids came to visit, Ally showed me this image she had created on her iPad and asked if I could make it into a quilt for her. Challenge on!

Qu-Aint Collaboration from pieceful life

I have been away from blogging for a few years, instead posting pictures on Instagram and Facebook. I have a new, exciting collaboration to talk about, and there will be lots of things to write about, so this is the perfect time to begin blogging again!
