Cackling Stitches Block of the Month - April from Creatin' in the Sticks

 It's the third month for the Cackling Stitches 

Block of the Month,
"Creepy Critters".

This month I have a Creepy Critter Block to release:
Boo the Black Cat


Boo is playing Peek-A-Boo in the pumpkin.
Halloween time is Boo's favorite time of year.

Joan from MooseStash Quilting is releasing
Tabatha the Witch
(this is my version of the block)


She flies with the bats with a big smile on her face.
I enjoyed putting Tabatha in a candy corn outfit.

Cackling Stitches Block of the Month - March from Creatin' in the Sticks

 It's the second month for the Cackling Stitches 
Block of the Month,
"Creepy Critters".

This month I have a Creepy Critter Block to release:
Jackie the Jockey


Jackie the Jockey found his head and he's ready to ride.

Petey the Poltergeist
(this is my version of the block)


Petey is perfectly creepy and enjoys the company of his black cat.

Cackling Stitches Creepy Critters BOM from Creatin' in the Sticks

 Cackling Stitches is doing it again...another block of the month! This one is called "Creepy Critters" and today is the official start!

 February 1st. 

The first blocks have just been released on our Cackling Stitches Facebook page, so if you want to join in check it out HERE.

I Like Thursday # 66 ~ I Like Fall from Life in the Scrapatch


Autumn has come to the Scrapatch.

Mr Scrapatch and I have planted fall mums in out windowboxes and pots.

The orange, yellow and red colors are my favorite.

I am going to try to winter some of these this year.

I did successfully winter this purple aster in our garden for the last three years

and it is big and full of blossoms this year. 

Fall mums and asters are normally annuals in our planting zone

but they sometimes come back another year in a sheltered place.

I have hund one of my favorite fall quilts in my dining room ...
