Sometimes it's hard to cut up beautiful large prints, and this pattern lets them shine instead of being cut into small pieces. I have another Bountiful quilt to share with you! This version of Bountiful is in softer shades of peach and plum. The Bountiful design centers around a larger focus fabric, mixed with coordinating prints. The pattern includes 7 sizes to make it easy for you to make the size of quilt you want. There is even a bit of strip piecing because it's my favorite thing!

Along with the focus fabric, the coordinating fabrics can be jelly roll strips, yardage, or fat quarters (bed sizes only).

Grid Pop Baby Quilt in Ombre Rainbow! from Busy Hands Quilts

This week's finish is a Grid Pop Baby quilt in a rainbow of ombre fabrics! The quilt is so bright and happy, perfect for a baby shower gift or a wall hanging.

The Grid Pop quilt pattern includes 7 sizes in all, is jelly roll friendly, and strip pieced for a fast finish. The Baby size requires half of a jelly roll, so you can get two baby quilts from a single jelly roll! The Throw size uses an entire jelly strip roll perfectly. :)

Horizon Throw Quilt in Moonchild Purples and Pinks! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today's share is a purple and pink Horizon quilt in the Throw size. This interpretation of the Horizon pattern uses two colorways instead of three as shown in the cover quilt which you can see right here. The peachy pinks and purples in this quilt are very soft and sweet.

2024 Finished Quilts! from Busy Hands Quilts

Here are 2024 finished quilts! There are 28 total, which is down from the usual number I made per year because I was gone for three months in early 2024 caring for my parents, and we moved in June. Some of the quilt tops were made by my sewists and I quilted and bound them (the quilts, not the sewists). :) And some quilt tops were made in 2023 and finished in 2024.

Summer on the Porch Throw Quilt in Nana Mae 8 Fabrics! from Busy Hands Quilts

The Summer on the Porch quilt pattern was selected to feature the Nana Mae 8 fabric collection by Henry Glass, and I was super excited when they sent me the fabric to sew up a quilt sample! This fabric collection is a mix of 30s-style feedsack florals in the sweetest colors. Because all of the prints are colors and there are no neutrals in this collection, it was super easy to use with a creamy white background.
