Welcome Our Newest Elements - Decostitch + Icon from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Hi Makers,

Are you looking for some new blenders for your next quilty project?! The usual go-to's are often solids, but we wanted to create something different that added some texture and felt just more unique! So, this time around we decided to expand our collection of Elements by adding two new designs, “DECOSTITCH” and “ICON.” Both of these different designs can be used to sew with a wide variety of prints and colors or be used on their own as well.

For “DECOSTITCH,” we were inspired by stitching motifs and decided to fuse them together with neutral shades ...

a few (mostly fabric) additions from Charm About You

City Nights by Lewis and Irene quilting fabric

One of the things I love about visiting a quilt shop is getting to see fabric collections you've seen online, in real life. I was teaching at Patchfinders the other day and, after ogling City Nights by Lewis and Irene on my laptop, some had to come home with me! It has lovely touches of metallic, just enough sparkle without being too much. I fell for, from left to right: Architectural Blender in copper on light and City Buildings in copper and copper on multi. The copper glistens so beautifully and the colours are totally my style.

While I ...

Festive Magic: "Sparkler" Fabric Collection from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Growing up in Florida always made the holiday season a very unique one! Unlike most parts of the world where December is a cold and snow-filled month, Florida's climate is usually hot, sticky and humid. I grew accustom to decorating tropical palm trees with Christmas lights and not being able to wear a "Christmas sweater" without sweating, hah! It wasn't until this past winter, I was able to experience my first "White Christmas!" My husband, his family and myself flew north to Canada to go skiing right outside Quebec City. Being in the snow really puts you into ...

Coastal Calling: Mediterraneo Fabric Collection from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

A few years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to experience the Mediterranean coast and visited the village of Positano in Italy. For those of you who have traveled to this region or are planning a visit, this place truly awakens all of the senses. From the sights of the magenta bougainvillea that cascade onto the sun-bleached terracotta and peach colored homes, the zesty smell of lemon trees permeating the air and delicious taste of fresh seafood from the Mediterranean sea, it’s simply breathtaking and enchanting!

Inspired by her childhood memories and summers spent along the Mediterranean coast, our ...

Here at AGF we sure are! There’s something so adventurous about building your own tent, exploring hiking trails, roasting marshmallows, and sharing stories around a fire. We love this life of adventure so much that we decided to create a Capsule collection dedicated to camping. It’s ...

Lambkin Fabrics: A sweet collection for boys & girls from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Hey there, fabric friends!

Who can agree, that there’s something so special about kids. They say silly things, look cute all dressed up, and their curiosity is incomparable to anything else! Although I don’t have kids of my own, I love them. They’re fun to teach and I just love how creative and imaginative they can be!

Bonnie Christine illustrates all of these things beautifully, in her new collection Lambkin. This delicate range of fabrics tells a story of a peaceful farmstead filled with cute lambs, free birds, and two distinct colorways for boys and girls. She ...
