Clowning Around from Sew Sunshine

So much bias tape on this quilt. I enjoyed making it and sewing it on but when I went to sew the wedges together I had a hard time getting the bias tape to match in width. Because I made the bias with various fabrics some pressed better than others. I do recommend the AGF's because their hand is so smooth and presses beautifully but if you use the light prints you might get see through seams. The pressing really needs to go whichever way is the flattest.

Some Walking Foot Practice from Dizzy Quilts

I have been having much fun with my walking foot lately! The little quilt I am sharing today started off as simply that - practice with the walking foot and my WALK book by Jacquie Gering.

I started with a half yard of some Kona Tangerine (it looks a little more red than orange in my photos) which I cut in half - one half for the top and one half for the back. I used one layer of cotton/poly batting and Aurifil #2600 (Dove) in 50 wt.
