Fun on Friday from Humble Quilts


Here's my "Not new project" LOL Pieced with appliqued handle was the preferred vote, but looking back on the original antique, the handles were wide and chunky and I don't think I could have done a good job with that same look using applique. Hey, you never know, I may do another one that is pieced! LOL  The lighter blue and hand dyes were done in a class with Lori Triplett in Houston. Long Time Gone from Pinkadot Quilts

 I can't believe how long it has been since I posted anything on the blog....

One of the things I have been doing is making the Pincushion Collage Quilt by Laura Heine for a class at the  The Old Country Store in Intercourse PA If you are interested in taking it, the class is in February. It is such a fun project, especially for anyone who sews!

The Organized Quilter from Repro Quilt Lover

Let me begin by saying this is an aspirational post. I am not an organized quilter or an organized anything, really. But, I need an organized system to accomplish what makes me happy; maybe you can relate.
