This week was so special.  I got to attend a lecture AND a class with Anna Maria Horner.


New Zealand really is a very long way away from all the quilting action in America, so when a quilting celebrity chooses to visit our country we all rejoice.

Tongariro Crossing (and the Peacock Party) from Wendy's Quilts and More

I've finished my Sue Spargo quilt and I love it.



Sue Spargo has called this pattern "Nature Trail", but my quilt doesn't look anything like a walk in the woods.  The colours in my quilt make me think of a volcano, so I'm calling my version "Tongariro Crossing".

A little accountability.... from Tuppence Ha'penny Quilts




I'm sure we've all seen the meme on Facebook or Instagram this New Year about a resolution to finish the things in 2019 that I started in 2018, having bought the fabric in 2017 and the pattern in 2016, and had the idea in 2015..... you get the picture.
