Christmas bed runner with Star Crossed Pines from Carried Away Quilting


Just the other day I was walking by our guest room and thought, “I wish I had a Christmas quilt to lay across the foot of the guest bed this winter.” You may be surprised to hear that I don’t have enough Christmas quilts for every bed and sofa in the house, but I don’t! Since Christmas is less than two months away (eeek!), I decided to make a bed runner instead. Here’s my first block.

Fancy Little Mug Rugs from Solid Stars from Amy Made That

Hello, Friends!
I have a fun little gift project to share today!



I made three little mug rugs, using
some 6 1/2" star blocks that I made
a short long time ago. 

{Ahem...time flies.}

I had such fun stitching up these solid blocks!
I used one of them on the back of a little table runner,


Hmmm...solid blocks do tend to show "mistakes",

{ Home Sweet Hometown Christmas~ Log Cabin Quilt } from {The Sweetest Dreams}

It's been sometime since I've updated my blog but that doesn't mean I've been idle.
There's been a lot of sewing going on from quilts to tote bags to sewing machine accessories.

This quilt is made entirely of Sweetwater holiday fabrics that I've been hoarding saving for a few years. The collections included are Cookie Exchange, Holly's Tree Farm & Hometown Christmas.
