Make-A-List Monday - It IS May, Isn't It? from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Has the weather in your part of the world gone nuts like it has here?  This morning it was 43 degrees, windy, rainy and cold!!! And it's MAY!  Seriously??? I am ready for some pretty warm sunny weather.  I had every intention of working in the front planters this morning, but not when it's cold and icky outside.  So if you've got pretty weather where you are, can you please send some our way?

I had a busy week last week, so let's see how the list went...

1.  Quilt at least four more ...

Make-A-List Monday - In and Out! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

I feel so much better this week than I did last week, and just a little bit virtuous!  It was a good week for sewing, and I got a lot done.  So let's take a look...

1.  Assemble the golf memory quilt top.
2.  Quilt the golf memory quilt.
Done!  I had so much fun with this pattern, and it's definitely one I'll use again.  I may even use it with regular fabrics!

3.  Quilt at least two high school quilts.
Done - and not just two, but four!  It's just a drop in the ...

Make-A-List Monday - Where Did My Week Go? from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

How did it get to be Monday already?  Last week went by so quickly, and I really don't feel like I got much done at all.  So let's see how last week's list went...

1.  Quilt high school ministry quilts (at least two).
I didn't get to this one, as I realized I had a rapidly approaching deadline on the golf memory quilt...

2.  Work on the third set of blocks for the Me Sew Happy quilt.
This one got put to the side, too.

3.  Finish cutting out the blocks for the golf ...

Make-A-List Monday - Did I Lose My Camera? from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Monday has rolled around once again, and as I get ready to prepare this post, I realize that I managed to get through last week without taking many pictures at all!  How depressing - what will I show you this week?  Well, let's see what I can pull together as we look at last week's list...

1.  Cut the blocks for the golf memory quilt.
I have about 2/3 of the blocks cut.  These are a lot trickier to cut, because many of them are fussy cut.  Hopefully I will finish them this week.

2.  Sandwich ...

Make-A-List Monday - Spring Has Sprung! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Well, I don't know about where you are, but here in Tennessee, spring has sprung!  The trees are greening out, the daffodils have faded for another year, and it's planting time!  I do love this time of year, but it's a terrible war between the part of me that wants to be outside, and the part that wants to be sewing.  So I try to do a little bit of everything!  But it's only for a short time, right?

Here's what happened with last week's list...

1.  Cut out blocks for a ...

Make-A-List Monday - Back Home Again! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Home again, home again, jiggity jog!  And while it was cold the last two days we were at the beach, here at home, it's now lovely, warm and springlike.  It's wonderful outside, and I'm trying to achieve some balance between spending time working on the yard and time working on all the quilting commissions I have right now!  I think I may start getting up earlier to get sewing time in so I can then play in the garden...

But let's see how last week's list went...

1.  Add an intro and closing ...

Make-A-List Wednesday (oops) and Scrappy Wednesday Rolled Into One.... from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Well, vacation has arrived and my brain cells have checked out - I completely lost track of what day of the week it was!  But when I realized it was Tuesday, I decided I could just combine a Monday and a Wednesday post, since I've got something fun to share to help conquer your scrap problems.

So first of all, last week's list...

1.  Write Sunday's "Meet the Sponsors" H2H post.
Done- and if you haven't seen all the great stuff that's been donated as "thank you"s for the Hands2Help participants, you should ...

Make-a-List Monday - A Short Short Week! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Monday is back again, and it's a short week for me! So much to do in two days before we go on vacation, and very little of it involving a sewing machine.  Boohoo!  But there is last week's list to deal with, so let's see how it went...

1.  Finish the border on the current t-shirt puzzle quilt.
Done!  This top is finished.

2.  If the backing arrives, quilt and bind that quilt.
The backing arrived, but no time to quilt it yet!  It will have to wait until after vacation.

3.  Choose giveaway goodies ...

Make-A-List Monday - No Squirrels Allowed! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Welcome to Monday, and a whole new week to spend!  Isn't it a wonderful feeling?  I love the feeling of starting all over again that Monday brings....

But first let's see how last week's list went...

1.  Keep cutting pieces for the vacation project.
Done!  I'm all ready with my vacation project; I don't anticipate I'll be able to finish more than this (if I can even finish this one!) because the grandkids will be with us for part of the time we are gone, but I'm hoping to make a ...

Make-A-List Monday - A Bit of a Breather! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Welcome to a whole new week!  It's warmer, the sun is shining, the daffodils are blooming - it feels like spring is just around the corner.  I can't wait, can you?

Let's see how last week's list went....

1.  Finish the two USPS t-shirt quilts.
Done! And I actually remembered to take pictures before they went home with their owner...

2.  Work with my repair guy, Joe, to get Jolene (my long arm) back up and running well!
Done!  Jolene is a much happier camper now, although he didn't find anything major wrong - just ...

Make-A-List Monday - Spring Is On The Horizon! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

It's Monday once again, and it's starting to look just a little bit like spring!  I've got two daffodils blooming in my yard, and a host of others that are poking their heads up and thinking about it.  Unfortunately, though, the dandelions are starting to show up too - I may start paying a bounty to the grandkids for each yellow dandelion they bring to me!  My neighbor always laughed at me for popping the heads off of them last spring, but I figure if they don't get to the puffball stage, there won't ...

Make-A-List Monday - What A Difference a Week Makes! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

What a difference a week makes!  Last Monday we were iced in, soon to be followed by a mess of snow that kept us inside until Saturday.  It certainly made for a lot of sewing (and jigsaw-puzzling) time!  But today there's just a little bit of ice left in the shady spots, which deserves a huge whoop whoop!  I did enjoy the extra sewing time, and binge-watched my way through about half of the Marvel universe, in order.  I think I've watched the first fourteen movies so far.  FYI, Disney+ has a great feature which places ...

Make-A-List Monday - Iced In! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

What is it about bad weather, I mean the kind that keeps you inside because the roads aren't safe, that makes you really crave a pizza?  I may have to drag out the yeast and make some pizza dough tomorrow and see what I can find to put on one soon!  Thankfully, I have a granddaughter who thinks that pepperoni is a food group, so we always have that on hand, and mozzarella is my friend, so it's always in stock too.  We didn't get the promised snow today, but we did have a whale ...

Make-A-List Monday - Not Enough Hours In The Day! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Wow, last week went fast, didn't it?  And January, too - wasn't Christmas just a couple of weeks ago?  Well, I guess time flies when you're having fun, and there's no better place to have fun than in the sewing room!  Good thing, because I'm going to be spending a LOT of time in there.  It's commission time of year, and they are rolling in.  Hooray!

So let's see how last week's list went....

1.  Write at least one String Therapy tutorial.
Done!  This was the first quilt to make an ...

Make-A-List Monday - Back On Track! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Monday has rolled around once again, and it feels totally different from last week!  Staying focused really helped - I've accomplished a lot and feel better about how things are going.  Of course, it didn't hurt that it was 62 degrees here today!  It won't last, but it was a lovely one-day break from winter weather.

So let's take a look at last week's list...

1.  Finish the list of charities and update the H2H Page on my blog.
Done!  I do hope you'll check it out - we've got a great list ...

Make-A-List Monday - Where Did The Week Go? from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Monday? How did that happen?  Holiday weekends always mess with my timing, it seems - but that's really no excuse for my results this week.  I need to get back on track with following my list!

Here's how last week's list went...

1.  Keeping working on the fifth String Therapy prototype.

I'm happy to say that not only is the fifth prototype finished...

...but I also finished the sixth and final one!

This kind of grabbed all my attention this week, which will explain how I did on the rest of the list.....

2.  Write ...

Make-A-List Monday - What a Week! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

Well, it has been a week, hasn't it?  I have to say that most of my plans went out the window and I indulged in comfort sewing in response.  Isn't it wonderful that we have that option?  Sewing was definitely my therapy this week.  So let's see just how that week went....

1.  Put all the Christmas decorations back in the attic.

Done!  All tucked away for another year...

Surprise! There really was a bed under there!

2.  Work on quilting some charity quilts.

Didn't get to this.

3.  Contact potential H2H charities and ...

Participate in the Boho Heart quilt-along

Make-A-List Monday - Ready for Santa! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

 Hi, all!

Well, it's been a quiet (and busy) week in my hometown!!  I've accomplished lots and now have time to play over the holidays.  That's a first!  Even my husband has finished his Christmas shopping and wrapping.  We don't know what to do with ourselves!

So let's take a look at my list from last week and see how it went...

1.  Wrap Christmas presents.

Done!  Our tree looks so festive! And we've never had the packages all wrapped this early before...

2.  Make four buffalo plaid pillow covers for my living room ...

Make-A-List Monday - Christmas is Coming!! from Confessions of a Fabric Addict

Hi, all!

My goodness, how time flies when you are having fun! It seems like can't possibly have been seven days since last Monday, but here we are again.  Eighteen days until Christmas, and I have almost finished my Christmas shopping, and I HAVE finished my Christmas gift-making! I still have a few things I'm working on, though, that I'll share in a few.  But first, here's how last week's list went...

1.  Make the labels for the annual quilts and attach them.

Done - and of course, I didn't take any pictures before I ...
