Twelve Years Professionally Long-arming from KISSed Quilts - Keeping It Simple and Stunning

I had so much going on, I failed to take a moment earlier this month and do a recap on year 12.

This Year:     68 Customer Quilts
88% Pantos, 12% Custom
60 pantos;  8 custom

Pantographs : 5 (#/mo)    Custom : 0.67 (#/mo)

Business to date: 820 Customer Quilts

Custom Quilts that weren't just a simple freehand:

Some ruler work and freehand.


Freehand seand dollars in the sashings, meander around the appliqued elements.

Ribbon candy in the sashing with cross-hatch at cornerstones and small meander around the embroidered blocks. Borders were continous hearts and wainscott.

Pattern: Sintra Central - inspired by my trip to Portugal Oct 2019.

Made with Island Batik fabrics - Holly Holiday; Pattern includes 8" and 12" block sizes.

Finishing 11 years of Professional Long-arm Machine Quilting from KISSed Quilts - Keeping It Simple and Stunning

Wrapping up 11 years of my long-arm as part of my business. Here is a little recap of this year's work on my machine and a few other endeavors.


This Year:     75 Customer Quilts
76% Pantos, 24% Custom
57 pantos;  18 custom

Pantographs : 4.75  (#/mo)    Custom : 1.5 (#/mo)

Business to date: 753 Customer Quilts

WIP 2019 from KISSed Quilts - Keeping It Simple and Stunning


Here is my annual year in review for 2019
Last year when I wanted to make the Peppermint Candy Table Topper (PCTT), I had curated fabrics sitting in a pile waiting to make scrappy Holly blocks from a 2007 WWVQG Block Lotto. Some of the fabrics would be ideal for the PCTT. I had made one and won a few, so needed to make quite a few more to have 16.
