Grosse Taschen - Ganz viele Tests from Quilt Collection M.

Ich habe ganz viel Leinenstoffe zu Hause. Ich kann einfach nicht widerstehen, wenn ich Leinen auf Märkten sehe. Und  nun habe ich einfach angefangen große Taschen daraus zu machen. Die ersten Prototypen sind nicht schlecht geworden.

Die erste Tasche ist aus festem IKEA-Stoff. Ich wollte einfach sehen, wie die Tasche wird und wie groß sie letztendlich ist. Bei den amerikanischen Mustern nähe ich ja immer nach Inch-Größen. Aber bei den Taschen kann ich mir das nie vorstellen...

That's How I Roll Tote III from Sew Some Sunshine

Last weekend my local guild, the Long Island Quilters Society, had a 'quilt the day away' event where members teach other members.  I taught a wonderful group of four quilters how to make a tote using strips.  This is a pattern I've made twice before.  It's a nice sized basic tote and is great for using up 2 1/2 inch strips.

My previous versions have both been given away as gifts, so I'm excited to keep this one for myself.  The pattern was on the Make it Coats website, but I haven't been able to ...
