March 1-10! from Jan's Quilts



March 1-10, flying geese done for the 2018 Temperature Quilt! I'm going to try to keep up and avoid the marathon-get-it-done session that I've had the last two months.

2018 Temperature Quilt from Jan's Quilts



I managed one more month of the 2018 Temperature Quilt.  Above are January and February.  For both months I did a marathon-get-it-done session.  This month isn't looking great, but I think I'll have time this week to start the March blocks.

Temperature Quilt from Jan's Quilts

Last year two of my IG friends made "Temperature Quilts".  I really liked the idea and decided to do my own this year.  January was very busy for me, so I got a late start and did all of the January units the last few days.  I'd already gathered my fabric; I decided to go with a mix of solids and prints.  I just had to find the time to make the flying geese.


I decided to make 3" x 6" flying geese; I'm going to end up with a very large quilt.
