Always Choose Tropical colour scheme by Clever Chameleon

Always Choose Tropical

I am slowly working through a huge backlog of blog-relevant news and quilty happenings! I can’t believe July has been such a huge month, it certainly wasn’t forecast that way. Or maybe I just wasn’t paying attention! Anyway, we’re halfway in, and I still need to post two Love with a Twist patterns (aiming for one on Friday), an unboxing post for Island Batik (next week), and a number of other smaller things I’m messing around with.

But before all that, I really want to give you the lowdown on the Chameleon ...

NC Arboretum Orchid Show – part 2 from From My Carolina Home

There were so many gorgeous blooms with the orchid show, that it is taking two posts to show just a small part of them.  The show was stuffed full of a huge variety of blooms!  Color and shapes were awesome, so let’s take a small tour of some more of the beauty in this room.

Tick, Tock, Goes the Clock..Tuesday’s the BIG day!

Yes, my fellow quilters and students have asked; and I have listened! Therefore, I am thrilled to announce that this Tuesday, July 17th, my online “Trunk Tell All” will go live! PLUS a lot of extras!

I have been hearing from many of you, far and wide, how you would love the opportunity to attend my trunk show but unfortunately logistically it just doesn’t work. That is simply unacceptable; I just cannot allow that to continue. There will be no more worries about where I”ll be, and how ...

Branch Gallery Exhibit from From Edge 2 Edge

David and I are excited to be in a new gallery exhibit with the Urban Grafitti quilts. The collection will be on display at The Branch Gallery for the Fiber Arts in Inglewood, CA from February 4, 2017 to March 10, 2017. The address is 1031 W. Manchester Blvd in Inglewood, CA 9030.

David and I will have a piece each in the show. His quilt is Beyond the Grasp of Many, and mine is Me, My Selfie, & I.

The pieces in this collection are an interesting mix of interpretations of urban street art. I love how each artist was ...
