Silly Sadie 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

I have found that Serendipity is fun, but there are a lot of designs which I haven’t saved during the play times I have had. However, sometimes a design just has to be saved, like the one above.

The second one was much improved by playing with the amount of contrast … and I love how it turned out!

Linoleum Plus from Sew Preeti Quilts

Here is my first finish of 2020.  I am calling it Linoleum.

How did it go?

Once upon time, a long time ago I wrote this tutorial.  Some of the resulting blocks became a part of Have a Minty Day quilt.  And yet others waited patiently to become something.

When I saw the Cross Plus Block, I had an idea. What if the colors are reversed?
Then my leftover tutorial blocks can be made into this!!!

Silly Sadie 12 from Virtual Quilter

Serendipity is a feature found in Electric quilt which twists, bends and mutilates blocks more than I do, and I have rarely played with it, but have to admit it can be fun … and I have tried to find a block which produces designs I might make into a real quilt, but despite some interesting designs, nothing appeals to me yet, but I will keep trying every now and then.
