I've made three Mariposa quilts, all in the Twin size. The Twin size takes a day or two to make.
Choose one of these red wagon quilt patterns or make them both! Bring back childhood memories of riding fun, and make one for each child!
This is Quilt 1 which I created for the My Red Wagon collection by Debbie Busby for Henry Glass. I am smitten by the textures and colors of these fabrics and so happy I was able to work with them! The prints spell ‘cozy’ with plaids and paisleys and are versatile as well because they include whimsical motifs for the entire year. Debbie was inspired!
Debbie worked with a primitive palette, imbuing each fabric with ...

Nested Seams ♥
Hello everyone! Just popping in this morning to share a project that Beth Sellers and I ‘cooked up’. As you know, I love to support many of the talented quilt designers in our community by selling their patterns in the shop. My preference is to purchase directly from them whenever I can, as opposed to through a distributor. It helps the designer a tiny bit financially and allows me to get to know the person too. A total win-win.
Recently I placed an order with Cooking Up Quilts to restock some patterns that had sold out in the shop. Her ...

The start the next shirt plan got sidetracked. When I laid out the pattern, I found the fabric was discolored in places. Washing lightened the marks but didn’t remove them. They were scattered enough I couldn’t cut around them.
I moved on to plan B.
My sister sent me this kit last year. I saw feathers and ribbon candy quilted in the frames until I did a mock up. The fancy quilting competed with all those patterned fabrics. Sometimes simple is better.
I finished it for a yard out. Now I need to ...
Welcome family and friends with this Easy quilting panel Fall pattern I have just released! The border has simple blocks so you can make this quilt in one day. It is perfect for a beginner quilter who is just learning the craft, and ideal for veteran quilters who want a new, but quick, Fall quilt.
Homecoming
Homecoming was made with the Happy Fall Y’all fabric collection by Timeless Treasures. It measures 34-1/2″ x 54-1/2″ and the block size is 2.5″. I chose a simple border because I wanted the messages on the panel to stand out ...

I blogged about my latest free applique’ winter quilt pattern a few weeks ago and today I want to show you how absolutely gorgeous it can turn out! I am sure you will be inspired to get ready for Christmas right now!

Rebecca and Christy from RebsFabStash did an amazing job on this quilt. I originally designed Holiday Retreat with the Moda Fabrics’ Forest Frost Glitter collection. I think it would look great with any colorway and fabric collection you chose but their selection is stunning.
