Dear Jane - Row B from Espritpatch

Second month of the quilt along calls for the second row of the Dear Jane quilt to be completed. Row B is not as advanced as Row A for me since I am missing 4 blocks: B9, B10, B11 and B13 but being away from home and travelling gives me some time for hand sewing...

B13 is most probably the easiest block from the whole quilt and interestingly, it is rather different from the others since it is using more than one fabric and no background fabric.
I finished this block Sunday last week with its 9 pieces.
And assembled ...

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!  We had my parents and nephew over for dinner last night and had a great time.  It was a busy weekend getting ready for that so I didn't get a chance to photograph my quilt top until this morning so I apologize this post is a little late.

Can you believe our Skipper Quilt Along is coming to an end?
It's week 8 and it's time to finish your quilt tops!

I will admit I was a little giddy when I finished sewing the last seam and pressing ...

Vintage kitchen from Espritpatch

Earlier this month I finally picked up the blocks for the Vintage Kitchen quilt-along. I made blocks 1 and 3 on time but was behind with blocks 2, 4 and now 5.

Block 2 was very labour-intensive with all the pieces needed to complete it. And rather fiddly too! It took me a few evenings to finish it but I must admit it was love at first sight once I did!
Not wanting to stop on my way,  I picked block 5 next, which was smaller and more straightforward. This one only took 2 evenings.
I was hoping to catch ...

Skipper Quilt Along: Week 7 with a Change of Plans from A Little Bit Biased

Now don't freak out.
I've been working a week ahead of you guys so I can have a post ready each week and as I was doing this weeks assignment I thought, "This is a lot."  Now granted, I am doing the twin size quilt so there's a lot more to it than the baby or throw sizes but with laying out all 84 blocks, sewing all the rows together, pressing all the seams open, then sewing all the rows together with the sashing strips in between, and ...
