Moonscape Baby Quilt from Jan's Quilts




A 2020 finish!  I even remembered to attach a quilt label!  This baby quilt is my own design.  I received two mini-charm packs at Quiltcon 2019 of Moonscape by Dear Stella.  I sat down with my graft paper and figured out how I wanted to use them.

Started 11/6/2019, finished 3/4/2020
Measurement: 40 inches square

I've finished one other quilt this week, but it's a surprise, so I won't post it until the recipient receives it.

Moonscape Baby Quilt, WIP from Jan's Quilts


At Quiltcon this year, I received two mini-charm packs of Moonscape by Dear Stella.  I wanted to use all those small squares in a baby quilt but needed to come up with a plan.


This is the plan I came up with, and it uses almost all of the mini-charms.  I decided not to make traditional 9-patches and eliminated some seams by making 7-patches.  These 6.5" blocks were very quick and easy.



Right now, the quilt top measures about 30" inches square, but I'm waiting on some Moonscape yardage, so I can add a border.  Below are my ...
