We had a great time in New Orleans - while hubby was working, I managed to get a design drawn up for this year's 12 Days of Christmas in July quilt-along, and even figured out the fabric requirements using (gasp!) pencil, paper and calculator!
We'll see how accurate it ...

Hi, all!
Well shut my mouth if I didn't JUST discover that I failed to write a post last Monday! My husband reminded me that we were attending the grand opening of his company's new work space, so I had a valid reason, but I can't believe I didn't remember and write one on Tuesday! Oh well - looks like I got a little while longer to work on that to-do list! Let's see how it went...

Ooh, I have been a bad, bad blogger! I just realized I haven't done a Monday post since March 13th..... oops! Time really flies when you're busy/having fun/avoiding doing taxes. Hi, all!
Happy New Year! Even better than Mondays, a new year gives us a chance to clean up, try new things, finish old projects, and maybe make a resolution or two. I'm not big on resolutions (they seem to be made to be broken!) but I do have some things I'm going to try to do this year. I'm hoping to use up more of my stash, both scraps and fabric I've been holding on to for a while. I've got a few projects that have been hanging around that I want to finish ...
