Reignite the Wild Forgotten with Bonnie Christine’s Fabric Collection from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

WildForgotten_banner copy

By being a creative person by nature, I will always have a deeper appreciation for art! Textile designs are unique in the way that you can feel the fabric, feel inspired, and manipulate it to transform into something even more beautiful! Every time a new collection is released, I’m thrilled to be one of the first ones to see the fabric because I instantly think of all the patchwork projects that can be created with it. This time around, when I saw Bonnie Christine’s latest collection, Wild forgotten, its wondrous prints and earthy colors made me instantly swoon ...

Celebrate Katarina Roccella’s 20th AGF Collection! from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Welcome back, makers!

Twenty_banner copy

When surrounded by such a creative team, I’ve gained so much appreciation when a concept is brought to life! As creatives, there isn’t a mentor, no checklist, no rules to follow, just following your gut. However, with persistence, patience, and tons of practice, you can achieve anything you want! As makers, we can all relate to this, to think back to where we started off and how far we’ve come with our newfound skills. So, let’s take a moment and give yourself a pat on the back for everything you’ve accomplished!

With ...

Onward_board_banner copy

Hello, fabric lovers!

I would like to start the day with one of my favorite sayings, “It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, what matters is how many times you get up!” We are all humans, going through this roller coaster we call life, and our goal is to try to make the most out of it. Today celebrates exactly that with Jessica Swift’s latest collection, Onward + Upward! One of my favorite things about Jessica as a designer is that her collections are so personal, relatable, and enlightening.

Onward + Upward embraces the powerful experience of self-discovery and ...

Bookish tells a tale of classic romance and modern whimsy in dusty-colored book covers of rose, burgundy, teal, peach, and gold.

I always have the pleasure of talking to our designers before ...

Zen Mode with Vert Fusion Fabrics from Art Gallery Fabrics-The Creative Blog

Vert_banner (1) copy

Hi, fabric friends!

Here at AGF, we love coming up with innovative designs and pushing the definition of what low volume prints mean, so we added a little spice! In some of our past Fusions, we released collections like Ballerina Fusion and Serenity Fusion that were based on the same idea but with a twist. Ballerina Fusion had a hint of pink, Serenity Fusion had a tint of blue, and now with our latest release of Vert Fusion, our approach was sage and aloe tones.

If you’re new to AGF, our Fusions are a mixture of prints from other ...

Download Free Quilt Pattern - Shaded Nine Patch Scrap Quilt from Quiltnotes All Blogs

The Shaded Nine Patch block consists of three light squares, three dark squares and three half square triangles made from both light and dark fabrics. When you look at the completed block it resembles a half square triangle. This means you can set these blocks in a multitude of ways. All the log cabin settings will work, all the pinwheel settings work and any setting that uses half square triangles works. In this download there are seven example layouts. What I like most about this block is that you can piece lots of them and decide later how to set ...
