The Super Easy Hourglass Quilt is a great place to start learning your first quilt block! This project comes together easily using Charm Packs (5″ squares of precut fabric).

You’ve finally made it! You have your supplies in hand and you have a great knowledge of precut quilting fabrics so it’s time to create your very first quilt block! Panettone

It has been a long time since I started a new quilting project. Missing quilting...
After reorganizing my closet I found various leftovers, among which those solid colors, and I wonder wether they could match or not in a new quilt. I am thinking of a simple and quickly sewn quilt like a nine patch or a four patch.

I love the four patch quilts but I always found the most difficult to match the colors, and was often disappointed with the result. Sometimes the most simple things are the most difficult to succeed in.

Disappearing Four-Patch Weave Quilt from The Cutting Table Quilt Blog - A Blog for Quilters by Quilters

The Disappearing Four-Patch Weave Quilt from Missouri Star Quilt Co. Watch the free quilt tutorial today.

Sometimes I wonder why I insist when in doubt...  I remember that from the very beginning I was not sure of myself and instead of stopping I went on adding other fabric lines, as a consequence that the more I was advancing with this project, trying to improve it, the less I was satisfied. Final result : an abandoned top.

Wondering what to do with this top, it came ...

Two tutorials - Quilts from Shirts from Studio Dragonfly Quilts

The original post for these quilts was just over two years ago. This set of mini-quilts was made for a family of five siblings to remember their father. I've received several questions about reproducing the design for the first and third quilts so thought I'd share that information here so that you can make one, too.

One frequent question is about how to size the finished quilt to be bigger or smaller. Both of these designs are based on an eight block by eight block grid. In other words, there are eight rows of eight blocks. To determine ...
