July in the Garden from From My Carolina Home

The garden is blooming still, get ready for a picture heavy post! We are fortunate to have a very long blooming season as the spring flowers fade and the summer beauties show their colors. Late June and early July is the time for the day lilies to shine.  I still have several varieties, and will be pulling at least one more up this fall to give away.  I’m just tired of them and need more shrubs and fewer bulbs.  The ruffled edged two tones are all I have left now.

April in the Garden – Planting pots and photographing flowers from From My Carolina Home

Lots of activity this past week in the garden, get ready for a long and picture heavy post to enjoy!  I will be resting today after a busy week last week, and getting ready for a crazy busy week ahead.  I hope you enjoy the prolific blooms around our place, starting with the tulips.  Almost all the bulbs bloomed this year, then a hard rainstorm beat the petals all off about three days later.  But they sure were pretty while they lasted.
