Family big success : I have not the time to cook a batch that I have to prepare the next one, as those cookies are eaten in no time!! 

Therefore I thought of writing for you the recipe of my own family very easy French Stars sablés de Noêl.

Regarding the glazed hazelnut and almond biscuits I followed Christelle's recipe in her French blog Cookismo : Click

Two of my five grand children who are living here in Greece came visit us for the week end. It was such a happiness to see them so joyful and enthusiastic for preparing Christmas! My six years old grand-son and my four years old grand-daughter helped me baking the French traditional Christmas cookies : sablés de Noël. I live very close to a ski slope named Buck Hill. When my boys were growing up they spent a lot of time there skiing and snowboarding. I drove them there on snow days so that they could meet up with friends and enjoy the new fresh snow with their friends. One of the things that I enjoy the most is the sledding hill. Christmas Makes from Oops Lah


As every year I've made a few Christmas gifts and Christmas ornaments. A friend of mine has recently retired and wants to start to embroider so I made her this box and filled it with some essentials.




Then I made these patchwork note book covers

Then I made a couple of folders with papers I bought in China. The first is a very typical Chines pattern



and here are some Shanghai ladies from the twenties. I hope my friends from my Asia time will enjoy them.
