Christmas version of Fat Quarter Flourish (plus kits!) from Carried Away Quilting


Earlier this year I introduced you to a new pattern called Fat Quarter Flourish, a pretty 20 1/2" square table topper or wall hanging made from just five fat quarters! Quilt retreat: A wonderful place to start a pumpkin quilt from Carried Away Quilting


This past weekend I attended an informal quilt retreat with long-time friends. We meet twice a year in the spring and fall to sew or scrapbook, eat, talk, laugh and enjoy each other’s company. I’ve been gathering with these lovely ladies for more than a decade, and it is truly a blessing. New pattern: Next Up, a charm pack or layer cake quilt from Carried Away Quilting


Are you looking for a quick and easy pattern for your favorite layer cake or charm pack? My newest pattern, Next Up, is just the ticket. The cutting and piecing is straightforward, but the interesting placement of prints and colors creates a visually pleasing finished quilt.
