It's Monday, Again from Cheryl Lynch Quilts


The Mini Mosaic Quilt kits are now available in my Etsy shop. I apologize if you receive my monthly email newsletter and this is not cutting edge news to you.  Since I'm not sure how much crossover there is between my blog readers and newsletter subscribers, I thought it was worth a repeat.  I want everyone to know about this fun new technique.

It's Monday from Cheryl Lynch Quilts

22" x 22"

The theme for this month's Island Batik Ambassador quilt is Adventuresome Applique.

 I think this piece definitely conveys my adventuresome spirit.  I have ridden my bike in the PA, DE, VA, NY, Utah, Florida, PEI, Spain, France, etc, etc.  It's a great feeling to have the wind blow in my face and smell the countryside.  My favorite thing to do on my bike is to ride over a bridge or take it on a ferry.  And the tired feeling that you have after being on the bike all day is empowering.

Quiltcon East from Cheryl Lynch Quilts

Quiltcon East is halfway through and it has been quite an exciting event. We're in Savannah at the International Trade and Convention Center, Booth #443. It's located on Hutchinson Island right across the river from Savannah and can only be accessed by ferry or bridge.

Funkytown from Cheryl Lynch Quilts

I have been working on this quilt for a few months. I call it "Funkytown". It's a Curvalicious design. It's so different than any other quilt I have created using Curvalicious. It's bight and whimsical and it makes me smile. The print fabrics are from an upcoming line of fabric by Tula Pink, called Tabby Road. If you look closely you can see catfood cans and cats in the prints. I'm not a big cat lover, but the colors and the graphic qualities of this line really caught my eye.
