Spellbound...Autumn Quilts New and Old from Butterfly Threads


I finally have this new pattern available! I made this quilt a couple of years ago and have been enjoying it in my home and decided it might be fun to share. The elongated look of the block comes from only adding horizontal sashing but no vertical sashing. It is an easy block that is nothing but strips once you make the little hourglass blocks in the middle. If you are local, you might recognize this from it's 'Worldwide Premiere' at Tiny Stitches during the recent Corn Maze Quilt Shop Hop.

A Five Hundred and Two Piece Project Bag from Michelle's Romantic Tangle

Months ago, I was standing in line at the grocery store and caught a glimpse of a yellow and white quilt on a magazine cover. It was a home decor magazine and the quilt was barely visible, but the idea of yellow and white stuck with me. I thought I'd do something with that color combination once Bag It! rolled around.
