A Sweet Caroline Queen Quilt in Botanical Blue! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm so happy to finally share this Sweet Caroline quilt with you!  This is the Queen size made with Botanical Blue.

This quilt is a wedding gift for my son and his wife.

Gridwork - a Throw Size Quilt Kit in Amish Solids! from Busy Hands Quilts

Gridwork has been kitted in the Throw size by Connecting Threads in Amish Solids, and the result is a truly stunning quilt!  Apparently quilters think so too, because many of the quilt kits have sold already.  :)



The Gridwork quilt pattern includes 4 sizes - Lap, Throw, Queen, and King.

The pattern is jelly roll friendly and goes together quickly with strip piecing.

Envision Throw Quilt in Moda Grunge Gris! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm excited to share an Envision Throw quilt with you!  This one is made with Moda Grunge which always seems to work very well in quilts.

The Envision quilt pattern is available in the Busy Hands Quilts shop.



The fabrics are all Moda Grunge in a range of grays, tans, and browns.  Just grab yardage of five fabrics from dark to light in a single colorway.

Belle Quilt Pattern - the Throw in Notting Hill! from Busy Hands Quilts

Today I'm sharing a sweet quilt pattern with you called Belle!  This is a layer cake friendly pattern that includes four sizes - Throw, Twin, Queen, and King.

Belle is an X patch design with a Seminole border.  While it looks like there is sashing between the blocks, there isn't; the X's float inside the block rather than going to the edge of the block.

My Farmhouse Quilt - A Table Runner! from Busy Hands Quilts

This past fall I made quilt samples for my local quilt shop of some of my patterns.  This My Farmhouse table runner is one of them.  I can finally show it to you since the pattern was released yesterday!

The My Farmhouse quilt pattern includes three sizes - Throw, Twin XL, and Queen.  It doesn't include the Table Runner size which is simply made with less blocks.

My Farmhouse Quilt - A Throw in Notting Hill! from Busy Hands Quilts

Meet the My Farmhouse quilt pattern!  My Farmhouse is a quick and easy jelly roll quilt pattern.  The pattern is strip pieced and is a great way to get your feet wet if you're new to strip piecing.

You can make the Throw size with 30 strips - less than one jelly roll!  That's great news since most jelly rolls have a few fabrics that could be left out since they blend in too much with the background, whether that be a light fabric or a dark fabric.

Waterfall Queen Quilt by Karen! from Busy Hands Quilts

Isn't this a beautiful quilt?!?  This is a Waterfall quilt made by Karen in blues and greens in the Queen size.  She did a beautiful job!


The Waterfall quilt pattern includes two sizes - Throw and Queen - because other sizes do not work out mathematically.  If you'd like to make the King size, I recommend adding borders, because adding another row of blocks makes a quilt over 130".

Hand Picked Quilt Pattern - A Quilted Table Runner! from Busy Hands Quilts

I have another Hand Picked quilt to share with you today!  This is a table runner I made this past summer for the local quilt shop to display in Christmas-themed fabric.

Curated Star Spangled Fat Quarter Bundles in Red, White, and Blue! from Busy Hands Quilts

Gardenia Fabrics on Etsy has curated custom Star Spangled Fat Quarter bundles with 60 FQs in Red,  White, and Blue.  These are the very fabrics I used in the quilt on the Star Spangled pattern cover.

The Star Spangled quilt pattern includes two sizes - Twin and King.  Both sizes are the same design with different block sizes, and the King has a few less rows than the Twin; yes, less!
