From One Thing To Another - Yet Again from Quilting My Way

This morning started out with exercises and then later a walk. I did get laundry going - and this time it went very well. I was able to get close to caught up.

I then worked on my beading - for 3 rows. Not there yet, I guess. I then got busy with playing games and getting a couple other things done.

THEN I realized it was our virtual meeting day for embroidery. I got all my beading stuff in the computer room and worked on it while I was enjoying our meeting. Judy had a lot of good things to say ...

Going around in Circles Lately from Quilting My Way

Here it is Sunday - yet again! I keep feeling like I'm running around on a wheel.

Today was a day to just clean up and then just relax. We watched a movie and I worked on my beading.

I wanted to get at least something done today. I didn't get anything done if you really think about it. I just beaded. I do like the darker greens on this piece. I will work on this some more later. I do like this quick start piece. It helps. I haven't taken it off yet. I may try and ...

Woo Hoo! It's Sunday! from Quilting My Way

This morning Patrick was out the door by 8 am. He had to get blood tests done. Coming home around 10 am with doughnuts! Yum!

We did some cleaning and got a few things done. I had planned (yeah, I know, we all know how that goes!) to get that quilt put together, but decided I wanted to get the laundry going instead. So, I pulled my embroidery out and took out the detached button hole stitch out that I put in yesterday.

This is the before. I didn't like the way it looked and realized I needed the ...

I Should Quit Bowling! from Quilting My Way

This morning I was up and enjoying the morning - till I started doing laundry and cleaning up. Then I decided I was going to work on getting that last panel done for the ornament. So, between loads of laundry I listened to my book and watched the Seahawks WIN! Yeah!

Just as I finished the panel, I had to get ready for my virtual meeting. We do embroidery in our virtual meeting. I showed my bonsai tree and wanted to get some work on it, but ended up chatting instead. Which means I didn't get much done. Plus I ...

Beading While Seahawks Won! from Quilting My Way

This morning I was playing games. It's a way that I can relax but at times I don't want to do anything else.

Cleaning day. So, I got 4 loads of laundry done as well as the kitty litter. I completely change the litter box on Sundays. It a good to get a few things done. Now I just need to find something to make for dessert or even cookies. I will try and find something like that later this week.

Patrick woke with a sore neck. He's had that for a few days, but today seemed ...

TV, Embroidery And Bowling from Quilting My Way

This morning Patrick was out the door to go get his blood tests in Olympia. I tried to sleep a little longer, but that didn't happen.

I played my games for a little bit. Then when Patrick came home, he had doughnuts! Had to eat those!

Then we sat and watched TV. It was time to get some of the shows we were missing done. I was okay with that because I wanted to get the embroidery done for BDEIG.

I started at this point. I had all this done yesterday. I was thrilled to get this much done ...

Something About Nothing from Quilting My Way

What is it about doing nothing that makes it something? I love just sitting and watching TV while either playing games or embroidery. Don't get me wrong - some TV is awful and I don't watch it. I enjoy the nature shows, exploring shows, and movies. I don't care for daily shows that are on now. So, my nights are working on something while listening to my books.

Patrick shut the TV off (thank goodness) and went out to nap on the swing set. I pulled my book out and worked on my embroidery. I am actually enjoying ...

Hard Long Night from Quilting My Way

Last night we went to "sleep" at about 1 pm. The funny part is that we didn't sleep. Mom wasn't tired and was up and down all night. She woke me every time I just fell asleep. Getting the tablet, reading a book, playing games, and then finally getting up and going to the computer a 5 am to play till 7:45 am. Which meant I didn't have much sleep all night. She took her hearing aids off, so didn't know she made a ton of noise every single time she moved. She'd hit ...

Beading And Bowling! from Quilting My Way

This morning I was up and getting moving with cleaning. Got the laundry started, still have more to do. We all know I start something and get side tracked. Yep, that was me today.

I got to work on my baking. I made some sourdough bread. I tried my own way of making it. I love the way it came out.

I worked on a few things after cleaning and decided I wanted to listen to my book and bead. Which I did!

Seven rows later and it's looking great. I'm running out of room to show it ...

Stitching & Bowling from Quilting My Way

This morning we were up early to wish Katt a safe trip home. She was glad to be going home after the wedding yesterday. It was put off an hour because of the catering being an hour out. She said she was busy keeping everyone on time.

We then sat and watched "Creatures Great and Small." They had a marathon. I was up and getting my embroidery all together. I received the kits for the virtual classes yesterday. So, I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed for them. I'm missing one floss, but not sure I ...

The Start Of A Busy Week from Quilting My Way

This morning I was up and ready to head to Hope Grange. I had an appointment to pick up fabric for our QOV group.

We were a few minutes early and one gal was there. We walked into the grange, and Patrick whispered to me, "You hit the mother load!"  The tables (2 long ones) was full of stacks of fabric. It was washed, ironed and folded! There was enough fabric to load the truck with.

Within 10 mins we were back on the road and heading home. As we are heading home, Patrick said we need to take the ...

As The Day Went On...... from Quilting My Way

This morning Patrick left for his golf tournament. He did get a couple places yesterday. He got back around 3. Guess the banquet was tonight at the Moose Lodge. He didn't want to go. Partly because we had a meeting tonight instead.

I worked on the binding of another quilt. I spent the afternoon working on the binding. I had one side done before starting. Finished 2 more sides. I have 1 side (long) to do. I will finish it tomorrow - maybe.

Then it was time to head to the bowling alley. I got my blueberries cleaned up some ...

What A Day! from Quilting My Way

Patrick left for golfing. Yep, even after golfing in MI, he was ready to go today as well! He's going tomorrow to!

As for me, I had to get phone numbers and start calling bowlers to let them know about Sunday night. One phone call after another. Then I had to get some paperwork ready for the meeting. I also spent time writing about the last 2 days. I think I posted 3 days, but it was 2 days. lol

Once all that was finally done, I decided to work on my embroidery and watch the "Finding Your Roots ...

Was Without WIFI for 3 Day from Quilting My Way

There is so much to chat about that now is the time to go get coffee or tea and read. I don't plan for it to be long, but who knows by the time I'm done.

This is were I go back 3 days to fill you in on my trip. I'm home - but not telling anyone. I bet a few of you know me, so please don't tell on me. I wanted to have some down time before I get calls and everything else that goes on in my life. Bowling is coming up and ...

Hiding Downstairs from Quilting My Way

This morning I was ready to get moving. Patrick went golfing, so I was on my own.

I headed downstairs because it's a lot cooler down there, but NOT today. I had the fan going while I worked. I decided to get moving on the quilt on the wall.

I started stitching....till I couldn't figure out what I was doing! I ripped, ripped, and ripped on the first few blocks. Once I got my brain to working. I found that I ended up with the top row in the reverse. Never fails!

My phone buzzed to let ...

Back On Track - Sort Of from Quilting My Way

This morning I just started the day with cleaning up. Laundry going, litter box cleaned, kitchen cleaned up, and then back to laundry.

I decided I was going to keep track of laundry by beading and being close to the laundry room.

I was able to get 6 rows done before I got a message asking me to join the virtual chat at 2:30 pm. So, I had to cut it short and go have a chat about the work I'm doing on BE.

An hour later and I'm getting ready for supper so I can be ...

A Quiet Sunday from Quilting My Way

This morning was a day of laundry and cleaning. Got a lot of stuff done. Then I played games.

Then I realized I had to get my blood pressure information to my doctor for tomorrow. Excel is great for that, but I had to enter over 2 months worth of information. Once that was done, I had to enter all the volunteer log information which is another 2 months worth of information. Once I had all that done, I was good to go.

After all that was entered, it was time to leave for bowling. I bowled pretty good - till ...

Back To Work from Quilting My Way

This morning Patrick went to Olympia for his blood tests. I slept in - or tried to. I got up and found him back with donuts. He said they didn't open till 9 am on Sundays, so he left. He was there at 7 am this morning. Now he has to do it all over again tomorrow.

He and I had breakfast together and then he was off to golf. I played games. It was one of those morning when I kept telling myself I needed to go down there.....3 hours later, I started downstairs. That was about lunch ...
