Finally some quilt finishes from Pointless Quilter

I finally finished the Orca Bay quilt.  I started this quilt probably 5 years ago.  I didn't work on it until 2020 though so it was just sitting collecting dust.  But now it is fully finished.  yeah!

As with many Bonnie Hunter (Quiltville) quilts, it has many, many little pieces.  

A few years ago I won some of our guild block of the month blocks.  My sister's mother-in-law moved into an assisted living facility and had to give up a lot of her fabrics which my sister shared with me.  She had this lovely Christmas fabric that worked ...

Feeling like a fraud. from Pointless Quilter

 My blog name is Pointless Quilter but I haven't been quilting a lot lately.  I have been working on Orca Bay for a while now.  And while I have most of the inner quilt finished (well by the end of today I hope) I did have 1/2 of it done about two weeks ago.

All those red triangle units with the black pieced corners kill me.  The border is full of them too and if I didn't already have the black pieced parts done for the border, I'd change it.  It's a super scrappy quilt ...

2019 Quilt and Cross Stitch Parade from Pointless Quilter

Even with this being the crappiest year, I have surprised myself on how much I did get done.  I had 13 items on my 2019 Goals list and I was able to finish 8 of them.  (Orange Jamestown Landing, Good Fortune BH Mystery) Black/Tan Idol quilt, Guild mystery, Moda Blockhead, Consignment Blue quilt, Trick or Treat, Material Girl Challenge-curved leaves) 

Cross Stitching has been added to my hobby list which was a blessing to have since I spent a lot of time sitting in a hospital and rehab with my dad.  So without any further ado...
