Wednesday's Word. Pressing On! BOMs Away! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Wednesday's Word

I also enjoy the NIV version of this Romans 15:13 -

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace
as you trust in Him
so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Romans 15:13

As we believe and trust in God, He will move.  Though

Pressing On!
I press on toward the goal...Philippians 3:14a
Oh my!  The many BOMs I'm working on are definitely changing the way I organize my crafting time.  It looks like I didn't get much crossed off ...

DID YOU KNOW? from ATTIC WINDOW QUILT SHOP

Hoo!  Hoo doesn't know about all the wonderful new BOMs at the Attic Window Quilt Shop?  I love this little Owl Coin Purse that Sue made.  It is a Cut Loose pattern and you can get it at the shop.

Marilyn and Sue are starting a new Vintage Christmas BOM.  Participants have two choices of fabrics for their kits.  You can choose the Batiks (left) or the brights (right).  This group starts in February and meets the third Wednesday of each month. Call the shop to register.
The group will be using the book, Vintage Christmas by Lori Holt ...

Wednesday's Word. BOMs Away! from Faith, Trust and Breast Cancer

Wednesday's Word

To fear God it to revere and be in awe of Him, to want to please Him because we trust Him.  See, He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him!  He hears us and saves us!  Would you consider taking the step of fearing and loving Him?   Here is a great study that I hope will bless you!

BOMs Away!
As I've prepared my 2019 Goals, I realized I'm in five BOMs - one of which is a personal goal.
1.  The popular $7.50 Club hosted by my LQS!  Isn't it curious how ...

Aurifil Designer of the Month 2019 from Blossom Heart Quilts

Well, what a way to get back into work after moving house than to announce that I am an Aurifil Designer of the Month for 2019!

Aurifil thread block of the month by BlossomHeartQuilts.com

I have had a long-standing love affair for Aurifil thread, which became official when I was an inaugural Aurifil Artisan in 2016, and again this year. And now I’m branching out in joining the DOM team for 2019. Each year, Aurifil hosts a quilt along with a block a month from different guest designers. The quilt along is centred around a theme each year, and in 2019 it’s all about Traditions.

Aurora Sampler Quilt – Month 1 from Blossom Heart Quilts

I’ve started off strong making my newest Aurora BOM quilt! In fact, I’ve got all my background pieces already cut thanks to #designerprerogative and my handy dandy AccuQuilt – there’s a lot of squares to cut! But I’m mostly cutting the prints as I go each month, so that I can get a good mix of prints/the right colour thing happening.

Fabric pull for a Tula Pink rainbow quilt using the Aurora BOM quilt by BlossomHeartQuilts.com and the 8 inch AccuQuilt Qube

As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m using a Tula Pink rainbow fat quarter bundle, which includes a mix of her lines. I’m purposely trying to use the more multicoloured prints, which goes against ...

Never Too Late from From the Strawberry Patch...

It's never too late to change your mind; at least not when it comes to finishing a quilt.  This one was a long time coming too, it had been loaded and unloaded off the rails more times than I can count; to quilt other quilts. Finally, last weekend, this Sampler saw that last quilting stitch go in and it was time for trimming and binding. I laid it out in the foyer to get some quick snapshots

The Fast-Fleeting Days of May... from From the Strawberry Patch...

Another Be-Attitudes block done, I was able to squeeze this, the May addition, in just under the wire to qualify as a finish this month. I look forward to getting these blocks assembled into a quilt top this fall, it is a fun project and I do love each and every block along the way. This month has sped by. (Not so different from any other month anymore in its relative velocity of passage!) I
