Accidental Baby Quilt from Tea Rose Home

Have you seen the cute fabric line Gretel designed by my sweet friend Amy Smart for Riley Blake designs? I had a chance to work with them and I made a quilt top a few weeks ago. What? the quilt up above? NO. That isn't it. The picture below is the quilt top I made first. For some reasons, my dog always shows up from nowhere when I start taking pictures of my quilt and gets in the pictures. Sorry if you are not a doggy lover. ;) It is not quilted yet, but I love how it turned out ...

A "Simple Stripes" Finish from Sew........This Is My Blog

I came across a cute pattern from Diary of a Quilter (by Amy Smart) called "Simple Stripes" and decided it would be perfect for my 10th quilt donation to Choose Life of North Alabama, my 14th finish for this year.  The tutorial is free on her site or as a PDF if you want to print and save it for later.  I decided on blues, greens, and yellows (brights, of course!) so into the stash I went.  I cut enough for way more than one quilt, mainly because I got caught up with all the fun fabrics and forgot to ...

Cotton Cuts Charity Mystery Hop from Terificreations's Weblog

There is nothing like multiple deadlines all rolling into one really busy six weeks that says let’s get everything done all on the same day. You may remember a while back I wrote “caution … Continue reading Cotton Cuts Charity Mystery Hop
