Interesting … and in one of my favourite colours.

I am looking forward to being old so I can wear purple!

I like to have at least two colour strips around the edge of the blocks in a quilt, at least an inch or two of one, then a contrast binding. That is the minimum for me, and most times I use two before the binding.

I might have to add some narrow borders tot he designs waiting in this project file.

At first glance it looks like the blocks are set on the diagonal, but it is two blocks, straight setting … can you pick the blocks?

The second design has different blocks, but the same setting.

Way too busy … I think that 9×9 blocks is too many.

Interesting. I have noticed that i am starting to use purple a lot. It was my Mum’s favourite colour, and I got to like it when I made my parents a quilt, and Mum got to choose the colours. I am going to have to add some different colours to some of the purple projects.
