Jelly Roll Race - 4th Finish Q3 2019 FAL from Quilted Delights

I'm on a roll!  I finished the quilting and binding on this Jelly Roll Race quilt the other day.
It is now ready for snuggling under.

This makes my 4th finish for the third quarter of the 2019 Finish-A-Long.

I started this one in June when I was showing some quick quilting ideas to the class I teach.

I knew this one would be a quick finish since I had the top done at the beginning of the quarter.

With a plan to quilt a quick all over design on it, I put it on this quarter's list ...

Half Sqaure Triangle Quilt and 3rd finish for Q3 FAL from Quilted Delights

This quilt is the second quilt I taught in the beginner quilt class I teach. This is the version I sewed along with the students.

I wanted the class to be able to tackle Half Square Triangles since they are used in so many different quilt blocks.

What better way to learn them, than to make a whole bunch of them and turn them into a quilt.  We used 5 inch squares and the two at time method to create our HSTs for our quilts.

I like splitting my yardage in half for backings and adding a coordinating strip in ...

Pink Bricks - 2nd Finish for Q3 FAL from Quilted Delights

My second finish for Q3 of the 2019 Finish-A-Long.  Wow, I can't believe it! Two finishes already this quarter.  I have already doubled last quarter finishes.  Haha!

I think it helped my sew-jo by putting small, almost completed projects on the list.  This one had been a top waiting for quilting.  It is about 34 x 40 inches. Once I got it on the machine, it only took about 35 minute to quilt using this all over quilt design.

I started this one sometime in 2018.  I think in the spring.

This is one of the few that I ...

That 70's Halloween Quilt - 1st Finish Q3 FAL from Quilted Delights

I know it is supposed to be Christmas in July not Halloween in July, but I finished my first UFO for the third Quarter of the 2019 Finish-A-Long and had to post it.

This one was started in October 2014 when I was doing the Black Cat Crossing Blog Hop.

It is a pattern called "That 70's Quilt" from the book Strip Savvy by Kate Henderson.

I had made several projects for Black Cat Crossing hop and this was a final project I started with some of the leftovers of the zig zag quilt.  I didn't have ...

One Block Wonder - Blue Heron Panel from Quilted Delights

This is my second One Block Wonder using a panel

I saw this Panel made into a OBW on the One Block Wonder Quilt Forum Facebook Group and knew I had to make one.

The first panel I used last fall on the Halloween OBW  had a border around the panel.
This time I wanted to skip the border and have the hexagons blend with the panel.

I cut my original strips 2 3/4 inches and got a lot of small hexagons to work with.
I used almost all of them for this quilt.

Finding the perfect layout took ...

2019 Finish-A-Long Quarter 1 from Sew Some Sunshine

Happy New Year!  Although I've had much less time for quilting this past year due to committing to additional graduate school work, I still enjoy the motivation of the Finish-A-Long, so here's my list.

Projects that I would like to get moving along include:

1.  Work on finishing my Delilah top.  Needs back, quilting, binding.

2.  Finish my AMH scrappy trip.  Needs binding.

3.  Finish my Mon Ami full melon wedding ring quilt.  (Templates from Victoria Findlay Wolfe.)

 4.  Finish my Swell Quilt, pattern by Camille Roskelley.  Needs back, quilting, binding.

5.  Finish my Rainbow Blur quilts.  This ...
